1. By Air (Fastest & Most Convenient)

•Airport: Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport (SXR), Srinagar

•Major Flights From: Delhi, Mumbai, Jammu, Chandigarh, Bangalore

•Travel Time: 1–2.5 hours (from major cities)

•Tip: Prepaid taxis are available at the airport to reach the city center (Dal Lake is ~12 km).

2. By Road

a. From Jammu

•Distance: ~270 km

•Time: 6–8 hours

•Route: Jammu → Udhampur → Chenani-Nashri Tunnel → Ramban → Banihal → Anantnag → Srinagar

•Travel Options:

•Private Taxi: ₹5,500–₹7,000

•Bus (JKSRTC or Private): ₹600–₹1,000

•Shared Cabs/Tempos: ₹700–₹1,000 per person

b. From Leh (via Kargil)

•Distance: ~420 km

•Time: 12–14 hours (2-day journey ideal)

•Open: May to October (Zoji La closed in winter)

3. By Train (Nearest Station: Banihal)

•Major Railhead: Jammu Tawi (JAT)

•From Jammu to Banihal: Take a train or taxi (approx. 135 km)

•From Banihal to Srinagar:

•Option 1: Take the Banihal–Baramulla DEMU train to Srinagar (Nowgam Station)

•Option 2: Hire a cab/shared taxi from Banihal (Tunnel route)

4. By Bus (Volvo/Deluxe/Ordinary)

•From Delhi: ~850 km / 18–20 hours

Day01 Srinagar to Aru Valley Campsite
After breakfast start drive towards Aru that is the base camp of tarsar marsar trek on this day you can see many places on the way like saffron field,lidder river, Pahalgam market and much more after reaching aru valley fresh up and explore the beauty of aru overnight stay on tents.

Day 02 Aru to Lidderwat Campsite
Today will be the ist day of your trek pack your bagpacks and start walking to next campsite lidderwat through dense forest and You have to walk on one side of the lidder river that comes from kolhai glacier after reaching campsite, you will be welcomed by Keva and snacks, overnight Stay on Tents.

Day03 Lidderwat to Sekhwas Campsite
After breakfast continue walking towards next campsite sekhwas This day will be a bit of a difficult day for you because you will have to walk on boulders there is a patch of Boulder is where you can walk very slowly and very carefully overnight stay on tents.

Day04 Sekhwas to Tarsar Lake
Wakeup early in the morning and pack your bagpacks after breakfast again continue your journey towards Tarsar lake campsite its ony 3 to 4 hours walking distance from sekhwas but it’s little bit ascending in the starting once you reach the top you will get the beautiful view of tarsar lake fresh up take cup of chai and explore the tarsar lake..
The altitude of Tarsar lake is around 3780 m above the sea level.

Day05 Tarsar lake to Sundarsar via Marsar lake.
Again pack your bag packs and heading towards sundar sar lake campsite but via marsar pass from the marsar pass you will get a whole view of the lake it’s the origin of dachigam nalla and the river goes to the famous srinagar dallake after coming back from marsar take a rest at sundarsar campsite and then explore the sundarsar campsite overnight stay at tents..

Day06 Sundersar to Sonmasti Campsite
It’s time to descending down towards sonmast campsite but while going down walk carefully and slowly because of the slippery small rocks overnight stay at tents.

Day07 Sonmasti to Surufraw to Srinagar
This day will be the last day of your 60 kms trek so walk down towards end point and our vehicle will pick you and drop you at srinagar.
