Drive from Leh to Lamayuru & Trek to Wanla

Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Leh to Lamayuru, where you explore the famous monastery and its surrounding moon-like terrain. The trek starts from here and descends gradually towards Wanla village, offering stunning views of rugged mountains.

Wanla to Hinju Trek 

The trail continues through narrow valleys and open landscapes as you make your way to Hinju village. The route offers a peaceful trekking experience with opportunities to interact with locals.

Hinju to Sumda Doksa via Kongskil Pass

 This is the most challenging and rewarding day as you cross Kongskil Pass, the highest point of the trek. The panoramic views from the top are breathtaking, followed by a descent to Sumda Doksa campsite.

Sumda Doksa to Alchi 

You trek downhill through scenic landscapes towards Alchi village. Upon arrival, you visit the famous Alchi Monastery, known for its ancient art and architecture.

Drive Back to Leh

After landing, it is highly recommended to rest for at least 24 hours to acclimatize to the high altitude before starting any trek or activity. 

🚗 By Road (Scenic Adventure) For those who love road trips, reaching Leh by road is a thrilling journey through some of the highest motorable passes in the world. 1. Manali to Leh Highway This route is one of the most popular and scenic drives, usually open from June to September. The journey takes you through high-altitude passes like Rohtang Pass and Baralacha La, offering stunning views of mountains, valleys, and rivers. It typically takes 2–3 days with overnight stops. 2. Srinagar to Leh Highway This route is relatively easier and more gradual in terms of altitude gain, making it better for acclimatization.
